Forest Hills Golf Club

Forest Hills is a naturally undulating parkland course set in the beautiful Forest Of Dean, with panoramic views over the old market town of Coleford to the Welsh hills beyond.

Monmouth Golf Club

Monmouth Golf Club certainly has every justification for its claim to have one of the prettiest golf courses in Wales and is undoubtedly one that is renowned for the warm welcome offered to its’ guests. The course stands on high ground above the Town with superb views of the Welsh Hills, Forest of Dean and the Wye Valley. The undulating parkland course, superbly maintained throughout the year, is 5582 yards off the white tees ,5399 off yellow (Par 69, SSS 67) and 5061 yards off the Ladies’ red tees (Par 70 SSS70).

Dean Forest Railway

Heritage sream railway running between Lydney Junction and Parkend. Passengers travel between Norchard, Lydney Junction and Parkend with the opportunity to alight at Lydney Town (for Bathurst Park for the children and the town shops) or St Mary's Halt (for the lake or Parish Church). At Norchard, there is a museum located through the souvenir shop. It contains many fascinating historic railway artifacts including some from the Forest of Dean and surrounding railways.

Elton Farm Leisure. Home of the maize mazes

Is an established centre for several leisure and business activites in the Forest of Dean. We are home to the famous Elton Farm Maize Mazes. These are huge mazes built with a different theme each summer. The Mazes are expertly designed and offer a great day out for the whole family. The Elton Farm Maize Mazes are open from mid July until September.

International Centre for Birds of Prey

The International Centre for Birds of Prey is the oldest bird of prey centre in the UK and one of the friendliest. The atmosphere here is great and visitors always say they feel like a part of the family, which is nice to hear. There are around 200 birds of prey living here, of which about 30 are flown in spectacular demonstrations every day.
